BUFT signs MOUs with four  organizations to strengthen academia-industry  collaboration

BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology (BUFT) signed Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with Mojumder Group, Grameen Health Limited (Shukhee), E-Zone HRM Limited, and Oeti Bangladesh at a ceremony held at the BoT Conference Room of BUFT on 17 May 2026 to strengthen academia-industry collaboration and strategic partnerships.The agreements aim to enhance industry engagement, student internships, career placement, healthcare support services, training, research collaboration, skill development, and professional capacity building, according to a press release.

The MoUs were signed by Mr. Syed Mohd. Sajjad, Managing Director of Mojumder Group; Dr. Ahmed Armaan Siddiqui, CEO of Grameen Health Limited (Shukhee); Mr. Mominul Ahsan, Managing Director of E-Zone HRM Limited; and Mr. MohiuddinSheek on behalf of Oeti Bangladesh. Mr. Faruque Hassan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees (BOT), signed the agreements on behalf of BUFT. 

The ceremony was attended by the Member of BoT, Mr. Mohammed Nasir; Vice Chancellor (Designate), Prof. Dr. Engr. AyubNabi Khan; along with deans, heads, senior university officials, faculty members, and the coordinator of the MoU program, Mr. MalickShamim Akhtar, Senior Coordinator of the Career Development Center (CDC). Speakers highlighted the importance of academia-industry partnerships in enhancing employability, innovation, and sustainable development, while partner organizations expressed commitment to creating impactful opportunities for students and professionals.
