Maha Sporting's seal comfortable winin  First Division Badminton League

Maha Sporting posted dominating win against Europa Youth by 4-1 in the ongoing 'First Division Badminton League 2026' organized by Bangladesh Badminton Federation (BBF) at the ShaheedTajuddin Ahmed Indoor Stadium in Paltan on Monday.

Maha Sporting Club or Europa Youth Club did not form a team capable of becoming champions or runners-up in the First Division Badminton League. Even then, both teams focused on good play and close play. Abdul Hamid Lokman proved that. He defeated AymanIbneZaman of Dhaka Gladiators, who played at home and abroad, in the first match. However, this star from Sylhet, who played in Europa, got injured soon after. Today, he had to admit defeat to Fardin of Maha Sporting due to a retired heart (22-20, 15-6). In women's doubles, Mahar'sFariha and Cynthia pair defeated Europa's Sathi and Labiba by 21-11, 21-6 points, and in mixed doubles, Mizan and Mithila pair defeated Europa's Lipton and Mathena pair by 21-17, 21-14 points.

Meanwhile, in the mixed doubles, Gulshan Sporting Club's Tanvir andUrmi pair defeated Europa Youth Club's Muktar and Labiba pair in 2-0 sets on Tuesday.

In the men's doubles, Gulshan'sGaurab andJuma pair defeated Europa's Lipton andMuktar pair in 2-0 sets.
