4 students from Brahmanpara get highest award of Cub Scouts
For the first time, four students from Brahmanpara Upazila of Comilla have been nominated for this honor.
The students are- Sabbir Sarkar of Uttar Shidlai Government Primary School, Kazi Shoaib Ahmed of Takui Government Primary School, Maryam Khan and Rayyan Hasan of Berakhla Government Primary School.
To mention, Bangladesh Scouts has nominated a total of 1,937 Cub Scouts across the country for the 'Shapla Cub Award' and published the results after the final evaluation on May 17, 2026.
This is the highest state recognition of Bangladesh Cub Scouts.
Brahmanpara Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Mahmuda Jahan greeted them with flowers.
Assistant Commissioner (Land) Tarique Rahman, Upazila Primary Education Officer Syeda Halima Parveen and other officials and teachers were also present at the time.
