Training on Multimedia Journalism ends in Bogura


A three-day long Multimedia Journalism affairs training for journalists has ended with the certificate handover programme at Zila Parishad Auditorium in Bogura on Wednesday afternoon.

Press Institute of Bangladesh (PIB) Director General Faruk Wasif presided over the program while Bogura-6 (Sadar) MP Rezaul Karim Badsha was present as the chief guest.  Bogura Zila Parishad Administrator AKM Ahsanul Tayob Zakir, Bogura Press Club President Rezaul Hasan Ranu, Journalist Union of Bogura (JUB) President Gonesh Das and trainer of PIB Jiljaz Uddin Nipun, among others, were present on the occasion.  The speakers were Mirza Selim Reza from "The Daily Mohasthan", Mamun-ur-Rashid from "The Asian Age" and Srimithy Shoncita Orthy from "The Daily Karatoa" spoke on the function from the side of the Journalists of Bogura.

Speakers put emphasis on the more and more training on Multimedia and AI (Artificial Intelligence) Journalism and its positive and negative sides in the root level areas. 

They added that for the professional development of the journalists, training is must and all out supports are must for the absolute flourishment of the Journalists career. They also urged to the Journalists to be authentic and professional in delivering their news so that none can be harmed by the misinformation and disinformation.

Finally, a-regional PIB centre is demanded in Bogura so that training can be ensured to the journalists of northern and western areas of Bangladesh.
