Ansar-VDP staff members receive Eid gifts

On the occasion of Eid-Ul-Azha 2026, the Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party (VDP) organized an Eid gifts distribution program for its allowance-receiving members and employees. The closing ceremony of this initiative, undertaken to strengthen the welfare and mutual harmony among members, was held on Saturday (23 May 2026) at the Force Headquarters in Khilgaon, Dhaka. The Director General of the force, Major General Abdul Motaleb Sazzad Mahmud, attended the program as the chief guest. Under this initiative, Eid gift items were distributed among a total of 28,365 beneficiaries, including allowance-receiving members from all 64 districts of the country and fourth-class employees.

The gift package included polao rice, Vermicelli's, semolina, powdered milk, noodles, sugar, and various cooking spices. The program was arranged to create an atmosphere of joy and harmony among members and employees ahead of the holy Eid.

In his speech, the Director General said, "To implement the Reform Plan 2035, we must move forward in an organized manner with firm determination. Under no circumstances should we deviate from our set goals. This is not the time to look back; rather, we must move ahead with greater confidence by utilizing the possibilities before us."

He further stated that the force's capabilities are steadily increasing, and through collective efforts and dedication, this progress will accelerate manifold. To achieve this goal, every member of the force must work responsibly, diligently, and with complete commitment.
