Govt chalks out countrywide programs to observe July Uprising anniv
The government has taken up countryside programs to observe the second anniversary of the July Uprising. The Liberation War Affairs Ministry has issued directives to different organizations for smoothly conducting events and programs to mark the occasion.An office order signed by Deputy Secretary Shabnam Mushtary, Liberation War Affairs Ministry has been sent to all concerned ministries, divisions and institutions. Instructions have been given to all concerned to carry out necessary measures to this end. According to the letter issued by the Liberation War Affairs Ministry, the government has engaged Cabinet Division, Prime Minister's Office, Armed Forces Division, law and order forces, district administrators, city corporations and upazilas to celebrate the July Uprising events widely. Orders have been issued to Bangladesh Army, Bangladesh Navy, Bangladesh Air Force, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB).
, Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB), Ansar-VDP, Coast Guard, National Security Intelligence (NSI), Directorate General of Forces Intelligence (DGFI) and Police Department to ensure safety during the above programs. Bangladesh Television, Bangladesh Betar, Information Directorate and Mass Communication Department have been instructed to cover the events with due importance.
Discussion programs, cultural soirees, photography exhibitions and special publications will be carried out on account of the July Uprising second anniversary, according to government agencies.
