Afroza Abbas made Chairman, Jatiya Mohila Shangstha
Jatiyatabadi Mohila Dal President Afroza Abbas has been appointed in the Chairman post of Jatiya Mohila Shangstha. She is veteran Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) standing committee member and the Prime Minister's Political Adviser Mirza Abbas's wife.
A gazette notification from the Ministry of Public Administration issued on Tuesday states that Afroza Abbas has been assigned to hold the Chairman position of Jatiya Mohila Shangstha on recommendations from the Women and Children Affairs Ministry.
Afroza Abbas will stay in this post for two years from the joining date. The office order mentions that it is an honorary post for which Afroza Abbas will receive no salaries.
