Cash aid, business materials provided to 10 beggars in Dinajpur

Dinajpur District Social Services Office organized an event on Tuesday to provide alternative employment opportunities to 10 beggars for rehabilitation and rehabilitation.

Dinajpur Municipality Administrator Md. Riaz Uddin distributed the business materials and cash aid as the chief guest. 

Speaking on the occasion, Administrator Md. Riaz Uddin said, ""With these goods and cash, you will develop your business. The government is providing this money to increase capital and establish many more big businesses. We will regularly monitor the progress of the business. Necessary action will be taken against those who waste capital. Remember, the government has launched the beggar rehabilitation and alternative employment project to bring the poor people into the mainstream of development." 

Deputy Director of the District Social Services Office Md. Abdul Matin, Assistant Director Md. Munir Hossain, City Social Service Officer Md. Mainul Islam spoke on the occasion. 

Md. Riaz Uddin distributed clothes and cash to 3 beggars to go door to door and sell clothes. 

He provided shop goods and cash to 1 person for grocery business. He provided a van and cash to 1 beggar for a scrap business and gave cash to 3 people for raising cows and goats. 

City Social Service Officer Md. Mainul Islam said, "We have selected these 10 beggars after scrutinizing them. We believe that if they can manage this business properly, they will never have to beg again. They will stand on their own feet."
