Ambassador for promoting Bangladesh's love for Argentine football worldwide

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Md. Ali Hossain Fakir held a courtesy meeting with Ambassador of Argentina to Bangladesh, Marcelo Carlos Cesa.
The meeting took place on Saturday (20 June 2026) afternoon at the Police Headquarters.
During the meeting, discussions were held on strengthening police cooperation between the two countries, enhancing security arrangements, and increasing mutual coordination.
The Argentine Ambassador said that they are interested in further strengthening security cooperation with the Bangladesh Police. He also expressed interest in highlighting globally the widespread enthusiasm and support of the people of Bangladesh for Argentina in the World Cup Football.
Welcoming the Ambassador, IGP Md. Ali Hossain Fakir emphasized enhancing cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of the two countries. He also welcomed initiatives to showcase internationally the football passion of Bangladeshis and their love for Argentina.
Senior officials of the Bangladesh Police were also present at the meeting.
