Meeting on integrated development plan  held in Cumilla

A meeting was held to make the overall development of Cumilla more dynamic and planned. 

The meeting was held at the hall of Monir Tower in the city on Friday.  Cumilla-6 constituency MP Monirul Haque Chowdhury and Cumilla Development Authority (CDA) Chairman Udbatul Bari Abu addressed the meeting while Cumilla South District BNP Senior Vice President Mohammad Amiruzzaman was in the chair.  Speakers at the meeting discussed in detail about Cumilla's ongoing development activities, planned urbanization, infrastructure development and improvement of citizen services. 

The speakers at the meeting said that coordination between all the concerned departments and public representatives is very important for the sustainable development of Cumilla. At the same time, they emphasized on taking effective initiatives to build a modern and planned city. They also put emphasis on adopting an integrated and long-term development plan. Cumilla South District BNP General Secretary Ashiqur Rahman Mahmud, VP Wasim, Organizing Secretary Nazrul Haque Swapan Bhuiyan, Cumilla South District Krishak Dal President Mustafa Zaman, former joint convener of the district BNP Mojahid Chowdhury, Sadar South Upazila BNP President Advocate Akhtar Hossain and Cumilla Metropolitan Jubo Dal convener Faisalur Rahman Pavel along with other leaders attended the meeting.
