Bangladesh will one day play in World Cup: Argentine Ambassador
Argentine Ambassador Marcelo Carlos Cesa has expressed hope that Bangladesh will one day play in the World Cup Football. Marcelo Carlos Cesa participated in a friendly football match with local inhabitants at Shimulia in Munshiganj on Friday afternoon. He also moved around different parts of the area and conveyed his appreciation.
The Argentine Ambassador said "I am highly delighted to meet everyone at this place. I am optimistic that Bangladesh will continue playing football and the country will join the World Cup someday."
Munshiganj-3 Member of Parliament Quamruzzaman Ratan from Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and football lovers from the locality were present on the occasion.
A festive ambience was generated over the friendly football match in which Marcelo Carlos Cesa played and he also took photographs with local people. The Argentine Ambassador expressed his joy after exchanging compliments with local residents, administrative officials and public representatives.
