The State Minister said these things at the inauguration ceremony of the Inter-University Swimming and Water Polo Competition organized at the Dhaka University Swimming Pool on Friday. He mentioned that in the current society, children have become confined to their homes due to excessive use of devices. The government is taking this strict yet positive step to bring them back to the field and build a healthy nation. From now on, every student starting from the fourth grade will have to come to the field to pass the exam and participate in training sessions under a specific teacher.

Mentioning the government's special initiatives for the professionalism and future security of players, he said that after next July, 200 more players will be brought under professionalism. As a result, the program of providing regular sports allowances and sports sticks to about 500 players will continue, so that the future generation of the country can choose sports as a permanent profession along with studies and establish themselves.
