PM launches tree plantation campaign in secondary schools
Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Monday formally inaugurated a nationwide tree plantation programme for secondary educational institutions by planting a sapling on the premise of Bangladesh-China Friendship International Conference Center here.
Under the slogan "One Child, One Tree," the Prime Minister simultaneously inaugurated the camping in over 29,000 secondary schools across the country virtually.
He also joined a national event "Startup, Science Project and Innovation Idea Showcasing" exhibition organized by the Ministry of Education at the venue, reports BSS.
During the event, the Prime Minister toured the exhibition stalls and visited the innovative projects displayed by students from schools across the country.The students presented the features and potential benefits of their projects.
