Turkish historical series ‘Sultan Salahuddin Ayyubi’

The highly acclaimed Turkish historical drama “Kudüs Fatihi Selahaddin Eyyubi”, based on the life and legacy of the legendary Muslim commander and conqueror of Jerusalem, is set to captivate Bangladeshi audience. In a joint initiative by Nagorik TV and the country’s leading OTT platform Bongo, the Bangla-dubbed version of this epic series will be premiered on 2 August.

The official announcement was made on Tuesday during a grand press conference at Hotel InterContinental in Dhaka. Starting on 2 August, the series will air from Sunday to Thursday at 8pm on Nagorik TV, with digital streaming available at 9pm on Bongo.

The storyline chronicles the monumental journey to liberate the holy city of Jerusalem from the Crusaders. It meticulously portrays the political and military struggles behind uniting the Muslim world, the establishment of justice, and the valor of this great commander. Having garnered immense popularity in Turkey, this magnum opus brings the 12th-century historical era to life through massive sets, brilliant cinematography, gripping action sequences, and stellar performances by the cast.
