Cumilla Development Authority's office inaugurated
The inauguration of Cumilla Development Authority office was held on Saturday.
Housing and Public Works Minister Zakaria Taher MP attended the program as the chief guest.
Cumilla-06 MP Monirul Haque Chowdhury, Cumilla-05 MP Jasim Uddin, Cumilla City Corporation Administrator Yusuf Molla Tipu, District Council Administrator Mostaq Mia, Cumilla Deputy Commissioner Rozi Akhter, District Police Superintendent Md. Anisuzzaman, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Md. Saiful Islam and Cumilla Public Works Department Superintendent Engineer Md. Afsar Uddin, Public Works Department Executive Engineer Nazmul Hasan Hira and senior officials were present on the occasion.
The event was presided over by Cumilla Development Authority Chairman Udbatul Bari Abu, the officials from various government departments, public representatives were also present at the event.
The speakers at the event emphasized the planned development of Cumilla city, expansion of infrastructure and establishment of modern city management. They expressed hope that development activities will be more dynamic and effective through this new office.
With the inauguration, this new office officially started its journey to manage the activities of the Cumilla Development Authority. The expectations of those concerned are that through this, institutional activities in implementing the planned development of Cumilla city will be further strengthened.
