DPE engineer suspended for publishing scholarship exam results earlier
Assistant Maintenance Engineer of the Directorate of Primary Education (DPE) Mehtab Kayes has been temporarily suspended from government service on charges of violating security protocols by uploading the results of the Primary Scholarship Examination 2025 onto the web portal before the official announcement.
A press release of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education on Friday said.
The results of the Primary Scholarship Examination 2025 were uploaded to the web portal without following the appropriate security protocols prior to their release by the competent authorities.
By uploading the results prematurely in violation of regulations, a charge of "misconduct" has been brought against him under Section 12(1) of the Government Servants (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 2018, the release said.
In this connection, Mehtab Kayes has been temporarily suspended from government service effective from the date the results were uploaded to the web portal.
During the period of temporary suspension, he will be entitled to a subsistence allowance as per the rules, added the release.
