Chinese Ambassador Yao Wen envisions bullet trains running across Bangladesh
Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Yao Wen has expressed his vision of introducing high-speed bullet train services in Bangladesh, highlighting the potential of modern railway connectivity to transform the country's transportation system and boost economic development.
Speaking at a discussion held in Pan Pacific Hotel Sonargaon on Saturday on Bangladesh-China cooperation, Ambassador Yao Wen said that advanced rail networks could play a significant role in improving communication between major cities, reducing travel time, and supporting trade and investment. He emphasized that stronger connectivity would contribute to Bangladesh's long-term development goals.
The ambassador noted that China is willing to provide financial and technical support for infrastructure projects in Bangladesh.
