Admiral Samuel Koehler, Commander of the U.S. Pacific Fleet, met with Bangladesh Defense Advisor AKM Shamsul Islam on Tuesday to discuss bilateral defense ties and regional security initiatives.
During the high-level meeting, both military leaders reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining a stable, secure, and prosperous Indo-Pacific region. Discussions centered on expanding maritime cooperation, strategic defense dialogue, and shared regional security priorities.
