Tally Solutions, a globally recognised business management software company, has honoured 25 successful entrepreneurs and businesses at the fifth edition of Tally MSME Honours, recognising their achievements, innovation, business excellence and social contributions.
The awards were presented at a special ceremony in Dhaka to mark International MSME Day. The initiative celebrates the achievements of entrepreneurs and businesses that are making significant contributions in their respective sectors while driving innovation, business growth and positive social impact.
This year, more than 20,000 nominations were received from Bangladesh as well as countries and regions including Nepal, India, the Middle East and Kenya. Following an extensive selection process, winners were recognised across five categories: WonderWoman, Business Maestro, Tech Transformer, Champion of Cause and NewGen Icon.
The ceremony was attended by prominent representatives from Bangladesh’s business and industrial sectors, including Amit Kumar, Country Head, SBI Bangladesh and Advisory Council Member, The India-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IBCCI); Zaim Uddin Mahmud, Secretary General, ESSAB; Ananda Chandra Saha, Executive Director, Gazi Group of Companies; Sabira Adhowar, Founder, Goshery – Made in Bangladesh; Siddhartha Goswami, Operations Team Lead, IDEA; M. Sani Al S. Wad, Head of Marketing Solutions and Alternative Sales Channels, DB Group; and Mohammad Zihad, Head of Media, Banglalink.
WonderWoman
The WonderWoman category recognises women-led businesses that have created meaningful impact in both society and business.
The winners were Shanbehha Sultana of Shainz Tu; Sonia Naznin of Sojar; Taohidha Shiroopa of Mojir Bondhu; Arshlima Akter of Lima Couture; and Mst. Sharmin Akter of Rangon Boutique and Crafts.
Business Maestro
The Business Maestro category honours entrepreneurs for business excellence, leadership and sustained success.
The winners were Niaz Ahmed of Sayan Business; Md. Aminul Haque Tanvir of Al Reza Limited; T.M. Ali Haider of BNSL Group; Salam Hossain Chowdhury of Advance Attire Limited; and Mohammad Zahir Hossain of Poly Devils.
Tech Transformer
Recognising entrepreneurs who have leveraged technology and digital transformation to improve business efficiency and growth, the Tech Transformer category honoured Samir Ahmed of Paye Plastics; Moinur Rahman of Paragon Group; Yamin Faruk of Max Social Enterprise Limited; Mahbubur Rahman of Elias Aesthetic Limited; and Nur-E-Alam Chowdhury of Data Age Limited.
Champion of Cause
The Champion of Cause category recognises individuals and organisations contributing to positive social and environmental change.
The winners were Mostafa Azad Mohiuddin of Magura Group; Zahur Ahmed of Apex Holdings; Tanima Ferdousi of Deshtra Medical (Pvt.) Limited; Md. Anamul Haque Sabir, PhD of H & R Group Corporation; and Rafiqul Islam Rokon of Rupantor.
NewGen Icon
The newly introduced NewGen Icon category recognises innovative initiatives and business potential among entrepreneurs from the new generation.
The winners were Shahidul Islam of Sunway Software Limited; Bidyut Chandra Gupta, FCA of B.C. Gupta & Company; Md. Hasan of Inheritance Development Limited; Jawad Jahangir of Shuttle; and Rifah Tasnia Sworna of M/S Sanata by Rifah.
Through Tally MSME Honours, Tally Solutions aims to bring greater visibility to the achievements and contributions of small and medium-sized businesses while recognising their innovation, resilience, business excellence and positive role in society.
The initiative also seeks to encourage promising MSME entrepreneurs who contribute significantly to Bangladesh’s economy and employment generation. By celebrating entrepreneurial ideas, perseverance and success, Tally MSME Honours aims to inspire a stronger, more sustainable future for Bangladesh’s MSME sector.
