UNDP country head pays courtesy call on CJ

Steven Rodrigues, Country Representative for UNDP in Bangladesh, paid a courtesy call on the Chief Justice of Bangladesh Zubayer Rahman Chowdhury at the Supreme Court yesterday.
During the meeting held on Wednesday, both sides engaged in fruitful discussions on various issues of bilateral and mutual interest. They exchanged views on key aspects of overall development in Bangladesh's justice system, enhancing judicial efficiency, and strengthening the rule of law.
Following the meeting, the Resident Representative expressed commitment to supporting the modernization and institutional capacity building of the country's judiciary. Senior officials of the Supreme Court were also present on the occasion.
