Ex bank official dies after being hit by motorcycle in N'ganj
A former bank official was killed after being hit by a motorcycle in Siddhirganj, of Narayanganj. The accident occurred at around 8:30 am on Saturday in the Jalkuri Taltola area of Siddhirganj.
The deceased has been identified as Azizul Haque, son of late Hossain Ali Sheikh of the area.
According to police and local sources, Azizul Haque was going to a shop in the Jalkuri Taltola area to have tea after breakfast as usual on Saturday morning. At that time, a speeding motorcycle hit him hard and he fell on the road and was seriously injured.
Later, locals rescued him and took him to Khanpur Hospital in Narayanganj. When his condition deteriorated there, he was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital on the advice of doctors. Later, doctors declared him dead while undergoing treatment there.
