BAT Bangladesh PLC. appoints Farah Noor as Company Secretary & Head of Compliance

British AmericanTobacco Bangladesh PLC. (BAT Bangladesh PLC.) has appointed Farah Noor asCompany Secretary & Head of Compliance, making her the first woman CompanySecretary in the Company's history. The appointment is effective 23 July 2026.

Ms. Noor brings more than 25 years of legaland corporate experience, including over 20 years with BAT Bangladesh and overfour years served as an Associate lawyer in one of the leading law firms ofBangladesh. Since joining the Company in 2005, she has held several seniorlegal and business partnering roles, most recently serving as Litigation &Corporate Counsel. Her broad cross-functional experience has given her a deepunderstanding of the Company's business, governance framework, and regulatorylandscape.

Before joiningBAT Bangladesh, Ms. Noor also served as a Legal Adviser to the Bangladesh BarCouncil Human Rights Training Programme.

Ms. Noor holds LL.B.(Honours) and LL.M. degrees from the University of Dhaka. She has also completedinternational professional development programmes, including specialised trainingsin Malaysia, the Netherlands, Singapore and Hong Kong.

In her new roleas Company Secretary & Head of Compliance, Farah will lead BAT Bangladesh'scorporate governance and compliance agenda, support the Board of Directors infulfilling its governance responsibilities, and continue strengthening theCompany's governance framework in line with global best practices and evolvingregulatory expectations.
