Selim Al Deen's 77th birth anniversary observed
The 77th birth anniversary of Natyacharya Selim Al Deen was observed on Saturday at the Nabinchandra Sen Cultural Center here in Feni.
Drawing competition, discussion and cultural programmes were held to mark the day, organized by Selim Al Deen Center.
The programmes began with the drawing competition at 10:00am, jointly inaugurated by Mohammad Shahadat Hossain, editor of the Daily Feni's Samay and poet Manjur Tajim, BSS reports.
The function also featured reminiscence sessions and Selim Al Deen readings at 3:00pm, a cultural program at 4:30pm and concluded with a prize-giving ceremony at 5:30 pm.
Presided over by Sharmin Sultana, convener of the Selim Al Deen Study Center, the event's chief guest was Professor Engineer Mozaher Hossain, Chairman of IEBI.
