'Emily in Paris' Season 6 to premiere on Christmas eve

It is time to say bonjour one last time. Netflix has officially announced the release date for "Emily in Paris" Season 6, marking the final chapter of the hit romantic comedy-drama.

The sixth and concluding season will premiere on Dec 24, 2026, with Lily Collins reprising her role as Emily Cooper.

The streamer unveiled the first look on Instagram, promising the familiar mix of fashion, friendships and complicated relationships that have defined the series.

According to The Economic Times, the first-look images released by Netflix offer glimpses of sunshine, seaside locations and familiar faces, while raising fresh questions about Emily's relationships and future.

The new season will take Emily to Greece, where she is seen alongside Gabriel, the chef played by Lucas Bravo.

Their reunion has sparked speculation that the pair could finally get another chance at love after years of missed opportunities and complicated relationships.

At the end of Season 5, Gabriel learnt that Emily and Italian fashion businessman Marcello, played by Eugenio Franceschini, had ended their relationship. He subsequently sent Emily a postcard inviting her to join him before he began working aboard billionaire Thomas Heatherton's yacht.
Creator Darren Star has previously suggested that the possibility of Emily and Gabriel being together has never completely disappeared.

He has also said the final season would offer the biggest Emily in Paris experience yet, with the characters visiting multiple locations, including Greece.

Emily's trademark fashion will remain central to the series, with the first-look images teasing colourful seaside outfits alongside the show's familiar mix of romance, friendship, fashion and workplace drama, the report said.

Emily's best friend Mindy, played by Ashley Park, also faces a romantic dilemma.

She accepted a marriage proposal from Nicolas, played by Paul Forman, at the end of Season 5, but the new images show her spending time with former boyfriend Alfie, played by Lucien Laviscount.

Mindy and Alfie's relationship had previously become complicated by Emily's history with Alfie. The new season will reveal whether Mindy remains committed to Nicolas or revisits her relationship with Alfie.

Meanwhile, professional troubles continue at Agence Grateau.
