Actress Tasnuva Tisha caught in road crash, says she is lucky to survive
Television actress Tasnuva Tisha has been involved in a road accident while returning to Dhaka from Sreemangal after a shoot.
A pickup van rammed their vehicle near the Bhairab Toll Plaza. Though the car was damaged, the actress and those accompanying her escaped without any serious injuries.
Tisha then took to Facebook Live at 12:45am on Sunday to discuss the incident, bdnews24 reports.
The actress said, “A pickup van directly rammed our vehicle and rushed off just as we crossed the Bhairab Bridge and the toll plaza.”
As the pickup attempted to flee, the driver of Tisha’s car chased it down on a motorcycle, catching it near a local market. However, the pickup driver was able to flee, leaving the keys in the vehicle. Tisha said on the live, “It was a very bad accident. We survived, but it was a close call. The car is in bad condition.”
The actress said that police had arrived at the accident scene. She added that a photographer and an assistant had been with her during the accident.
Addressing her well-wishers, Tisha said: “Although we are mentally traumatised, we are all right physically.”
Tisha came to the spotlight for her role in the “August Fourteen” web series. She has been in several productions since then. She currently has a role in a television drama.
