NDC Delegation From New Delhi Arrives in Dhaka on Strategic Tour

A 15-member high-level delegation from the prestigious National Defence College (NDC), New Delhi, arrived in Bangladesh on 30 August 2026 as part of their regional "Strategic Neighbourhood Study Tour." The delegation comprises 15 officers drawn from the Indian Armed Forces, the Civil Services of India and members of the armed forces of friendly foreign nations participating in the course.
Immediately upon their arrival in the capital Dhaka city, the delegation held an interactive session with Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Dinesh Trivedi. The discussion focused on regional security dynamics, bilateral diplomatic relations and economic cooperation between the two neighboring nations. During their stay, the delegation will be hosted by the Bangladesh Armed Forces.
The itinerary includes high-level engagements and strategic interactions with senior civilian functionaries and military leadership in Bangladesh to further enhance defense diplomacy and bilateral cooperation.
