RAKUB new MD Kazi A. Rahman joins its HO
Newly promoted Managing Director (MD) of Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank (RAKUB) Kazi Abdur Rahman has joined in its head office in Rajshahi on Thursday morning.
Previously, he received promotion from the Ministry of Finance of Bangladesh from the Deputy Managing Director of Janata Bank PLC bank recently. He was also the DMD of Agrani Bank PLC, Rupali Bank PLC and RAKUB before joining in Janata Bank PLC.
The noted and renowned banker Abdur Rahman started his banking as senior officer in 1998 and served in that bank in different positions of different branches of the capital. He was also the divisional heads of Rajshahi, Dhaka and Rangpur divisions of the initial bank.
He completed Masters Degree on Islamic History and Culture from National University and MBA from Khulna University. He is a diplomate associate of Institute of Bankers in Bangladesh.
Besides, BIBM and Bangladesh Bank, he also took part in different trainings, workshops, seminars, and symposiums in home and abroad successfully and he was born in a renowned Muslim family at Syed Mohalla village under Fakirhat upazila in Bagerhat district.
