Cumilla SP Anisuzzaman named best performers
Cumilla District Police Superintendent Anisuzzaman PPM wins 1st prize in arms, drugs control and law and order operation.
Cumilla District Police Superintendent Md. Anisuzzaman, PPM, has achieved excellence across the country in terms of arms and drug recovery, law and order situation control and recognition of honesty and professionalism.
On August 29, 2026, the quarterly crime meeting was held at the conference room of the Police Headquarters in Dhaka. In recognition of this achievement of the Cumilla District Police, the Inspector General of Bangladesh Police (IGP) Md. Ali Hossain Fakir awarded Police Superintendent Md. Anisuzzaman PPM at the meeting.
This award was accorded in recognition of the activities of the Cumilla District Police in strengthening the anti-arms and drug campaign, controlling crime, maintaining the law and order situation, and ensuring the professionalism and integrity of the police members.
Expressing the feeling of receiving recognition for the work, SP Md. Anisuzzaman said, "This achievement is the teamwork of the entire district police. Such recognition further accelerates the pace of work."
He said, "Every member of the Cumilla District Police is performing his duties with sincerity and professionalism. In addition to the police members, the cooperation of the people of Cumilla is also important in controlling the law and order situation."
Expressing his gratitude to the people of the district, the SP said that the people of Cumilla and their representatives are behind such achievements. Without their cooperation, this achievement would not have been possible.
The district police is determined to keep the law and order situation in Cumilla better and normal. The activities of the district police will be further strengthened in the future to suppress crime, conduct operations against drugs and weapons, and ensure the safety of the people, the SP added.
