UK based Isle of Man freezes property of Nasa Group chairman
The United Kingdom (UK) based Isle of Man authorities have implemented all requests sent under Mutual Legal Assistance Requests (MLARs) concerning Nasa Group Chairman Nazrul Islam Mazumder, Nasrin Islam, persons associated with them and One Property Limited.
The Isle of Man authorities informed the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) that they had fully implemented the ACC's requests and froze the properties of the persons linked to the allegations.
ACC Deputy Director of the Public Relations Department Md Aktarul Islam disclosed the information at the commission's regular media briefing at its headquarters on Monday, BSS reports.
He said the Isle of Man authorities had taken all necessary measures in response to the MLARs sent by the ACC concerning Nasa Group
Chairman Nazrul Islam Mazumder, Nasrin Islam and WAN Property Limited.
At the same time, the authorities confirmed that the properties of the persons concerned had been frozen as requested by the commission.
