Drawing competition held to mark The Asian Age founding anniv

To mark the founding anniversary of The Asian Age, a leading national daily of Bangladesh, a drawing competition was held at the Bhaluka Upazila Press Club auditorium on Monday. 

Mymensingh South District BNP joint convener Ruhul Amin Masud cut a cake to celebrate the occasion as the chief. 

Assistant Commissioner (Land) Iqbal Hossain, Bhaluka Municipality BNP Convener Alhaj Hatem Khan, Joint Convener Ahsan Ullah Khan Rubel, Bhaluka Model Police Station OC Zahidul Islam, Bharadoba Highway Police Station OC Khorshed Alam, Traffic Inspector Palash Saha, Sanitary Inspector Shamsul Islam Ramiz, Mymensingh South District Jubo Dal Deputy General Secretary Matiur Rahman Milton, Upazila Jubo Dal leader Jahangir Alam Sabuj, Bhaluka Municipality Chhatra Dal Member Secretary Kayes Hasan, Joint Convener Engineer Himel Mondal, among others, were present as special guests.

Earlier in the morning, a drawing competition was held at the renowned Rafiz Raju Cadet Academy of the upazila to mark the founding anniversary of The Asian Age. Later, the guests presented prizes to the winners.

The event was presided over by Azim Uddin Sumon, convener of Bhaluka Upazila Press Club, and was attended by local journalists, civil society representatives and dignitaries.

The speakers at the event highly praised the role of 'The Asian Age' newspaper in providing objective and impartial news and wished the newspaper continued success and prosperity.
