World Physiotherapy Day observed in Mymensingh
An awareness rally was organised on Tuesday in Mymensingh on the occasion of World Physiotherapy Day.
The rally began from the campus of Mymensingh College of Physiotherapy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) and paraded various important roads in the city.
After the rally, a cake cutting and discussion meeting was held in the college auditorium.
Iqbal Kabir Zahid, Professor of the Department of Microbiology, Jashore University of Science and Technology, graced the discussion as the chief guest while Dr. Roksana Akhter, acting Principal of Mymensingh College of Physiotherapy and Health Sciences, was in the chair.
Conducted by MCPHS Assistant Director Imran Ahmed, College Coordinator and Head of Physiotherapy Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Abdul Quddus Zahid, Head of Human Resources Department and Accounts Branch, Md. Didar Hossain, along with teachers, students, physiotherapists and people from various departments took part in the program.
Later, a free healthcare camp was organized on the campus.
