U-17 Women’s football team take on Jordan in second friendly match today
The Bangladesh U-17 women's national football team will take on Jordan U-17 women's national football team in their second international friendly match scheduled to be held on Sunday at JFA Field in Amman, the capital of Jordan.
Bangladesh U-17 Women’s Football Team underwent their third training session at the JFA Field in Amman on Friday from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM local time (11:00 PM to 12:00 AM Dhaka time) as they continue preparations for their second FIFA international friendly against Jordan.
Following Thursday’s international friendly, the squad was divided into two groups during Friday’s session. The players who featured in the match underwent a recovery session, while the remaining players participated in a training programme focused on warm-ups, possession drills and small-sided games.
The players demonstrated strong commitment and intensity throughout the session. All squad members are in good health and continuing their preparations for the upcoming friendly. The team will hold their next training session tomorrow at 4:00 PM local time (7:00 PM Dhaka time).
Bangladesh will face the Jordan U-17 Women’s National Team on Saturday September 2026 as part of their preparation for the upcoming AFC U-17 Women’s Asian Cup 2027 Qualifiers in Uzbekistan.
Earlier, Bangladesh Under-17 Women’s Football team secured a massive victory in the first warm-up match against Jordan Under-17 Women’s Football team, part of their preparations for the AFC U-17 Women’s Asian Cup qualifiers. Saiful Bari Titu’s team demolished the hosts 5-0.
In the match held in Amman on Thursday Bangladesh women led 1-0 at halftime.
After the break, the Bangladesh women scored four more goals to completely rout Jordan.
Alpi Akter, Riya, Mousumi, Kulsum, and Payel each scored a goal for Bangladesh.
