Arms, local weapons recovered, Rajshahi, Joypurhat
Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) have recovered local weapons in an abandoned state in the Bandapukur area of Krishnapur village under Mohanpur police station in Rajshahi.
On the other hand, conducting an operation in Joypurhat district of Rajshahi division, firearms and local weapons were recovered. Illegal one-shooter guns, magazines, airguns, and ramdas (large knives) were recovered in an abandoned state near the Fipri Bridge in Ghonapara village under the district's Sadar police station.
According to a press release on Saturday afternoon, RAB stated that based on confidential information, RAB-5 conducted an operation deep at night on Saturday (September 12) at Bandapukur. At that time, white sacks tied at the opening with inscriptions like "Majim Agro Industries" and others were recovered abandoned. One single-barrel gun was found inside the recovered sacks. The weapon was seized in the presence of locals.
Meanwhile, RAB conducted an operation in the Ghonapara area under Joypurhat Sadar police station.
