Health minister will monitor the attendance of doctors, nurses and workers regularly

Health Minister Sardar Md. Sakhawat Hossain Bokul has said that, he will monitor regularly the attendance of doctors, nurses and workers at different health institutions in the country from his office. He made the remarks at the Ministry concerned office on Sunday while he was monitored the presence of doctors, nurses and health workers in various upazilla health complexes of the country through the digital attendance system.

At that time, the Health Minister monitored the digital attendance of Bhurungamari Upazilla health complex in Kurigram district, Belabo and Raipura upazilla health complex in Narsingdi, Aditmari upazilla health complex in lalmonirhat, Lama upazilla health complex in Bandarban and Dirai upazilla health complex in Sunamgonj.

During the observation, Sakhawat Hossain noticed the absence of doctors, Nurses and health workers in some health institutions. He however spoke to the civil surgeon and upazilla health and family planning officers of the concerned district regarding the matter. He also directed to issue show cause notices against those who were absent from working station without authorities permission.

In addition, the Health Minister elaborately came up and said again that, the presence of doctors, nurses, and health workers at their working place is very crucial to ensure healthcare. Attendance monitoring will be further strengthened so that people get the necessary services at health institutions in their respective areas, he added.

Health Services Division Secretary Dr. ANM Bazlur Rashid and Health Education Division Secretary AKM Benjamin Riazi were also present at the event.
