Green Voice Opens New Sub-Office with Renewed Commitment to a Greener Bangladesh

Dhaka, September 14: Green Voice, a youth-led organization dedicated to protecting the environment and nature, has inaugurated its new sub-office in a vibrant and festive atmosphere.

The formal opening ceremony began with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Ruhin Hossain Prince, adviser to Green Voice and prominent political figure, and renowned architect and environmental advocate Iqbal Habib, who joined the event to mark the new office’s official journey.

The ceremony was also attended by Alamgir Kabir, Founder and Chief Coordinator of Green Voice; Humayun Kabir Sumon, Co-Coordinator; Ratul Hasan, Arifur Rahman, Shakil Kabir, Fahmida Naznin, and Central Committee member Ashikur Rahman Antor.

Representatives from various university and college units of Green Voice, along with other members and volunteers of the organization, also participated in the inauguration ceremony.

Speaking at the event, the organizers expressed hope that the new sub-office would strengthen and accelerate Green Voice’s activities and help expand its environmental initiatives. They emphasized the importance of engaging young people in protecting nature and building greater public awareness about environmental challenges.

Green Voice has been working to mobilize young people against environmental pollution, deforestation, climate change and the destruction of nature through awareness campaigns and various environmental initiatives.

The inauguration marked a renewed commitment to strengthening the organization’s activities and encouraging collective action for environmental protection.

The organizers expressed their determination to continue working together for the well-being of the country and its environment, with a shared vision of building a greener, healthier and more sustainable Bangladesh.
