SepakTakraw to be included in NotunKuri Sportsbased on performance
State Minister for Youth and Sports MdAminulHaque said SepakTakraw would be included in the national talent-hunt programme 'NotunKuri Sports' in the future if players continue to demonstrate consistent performance. He made the remarks during an unannounced visit to the National SepakTakrawStadium on Tuesday to watch the finals of the SepakTakraw competition and encourage the participating players. The State Minister also attended the closing ceremony and assured the players that their facilities would be improved. He said necessary steps would be taken to arrange a suitable dressing room for the players at the earliest. The State Minister's surprise visit and assurances were welcomed by the young players and organisers. In the men's final, Satkhira district defeated Nilphamari district 2-0 to clinch the championship title. In the women's category, Rangamati district were crowned champions with six points from the group-league standings, while Nilphamari finished runners-up with four points.
