The Election Commission (EC) wants to complete the Union Parishad (UP) elections before June 6 next year, said Election Commissioner Brig Gen (retd) Abul Fazal Md Sanaullah.
He said this on Thursday while talking to journalists after a preparatory meeting with various ministries, divisions and authorities at the Election Commission Building in Agargaon on the by-election to Thakurgaon-1 constituency of the 13th Jatiya Sangsad and the local government elections.
