ACC tightens grip on journalists couple Naeem and Farida!
The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has decided to file a case against journalists Naeem Nizam and Farida Yasmin over allegations of acquiring wealth beyond their known sources of income. Naeem Nizam is former Editor of Bangladesh Protidin while his spouse Farida Yasmin was a Member of Parliament (MP).
The decision was taken on Wednesday following an inquiry into their financial affairs, including their income, property holdings, financial transactions and other assets. The ACC is expected to initiate legal proceedings after completing the necessary formalities.
