SRB-5 recovers 16 cocktails, 4 petrol bombs in Rajshahi
Special Response Battalion (SRB)-5 has recovered 16 cocktails and 4 petrol bombs in abandoned condition from the Talpukuria area under Shah Makhdum Police Station in the city.
On the basis of secret information, an operation team of SRB-5 came to know that bomb-like objects in shopping bags were lying abandoned in a field around 1.25 am on Wednesday.
Then, searching with a torch and search light along with the bomb disposal unit, it recovered 16 cocktails wrapped with scotch tape inside a white shopping bag and 4 petrol bomb-like objects inside a red shopping bag in abandoned condition.
The recovered exhibits have been handed over to the concerned police station through a general diary for subsequent legal action.
