Abdullah Al Mamun, Chandpur : Clean Chandpur founder, District Jubo Dal general secretary and Chandpur Municipality mayoral candidate advocate Nurul Amin Khan Akash has distributed sanitary napkin vending machines in two educational institutions of Chandpur to ensure that they come to school at special times and participate in teaching activities comfortably.
On Sunday, November 1, 2026, two vending machines were distributed separately at Baburhat High School and College in the suburbs and later at Daffodil International School and College in Chandpur city.
Through these two vending machines, about 900 female students of Baburhat High School and College and about 800 female students of Daffodil International School and College will be able to easily collect hygienic sanitary napkins at special times. This initiative has created great enthusiasm among the students as they have the opportunity to get napkins for just 10 taka.
Advocate Nurul Amin Khan Akash said at the event, "Staying clean is important in every religion. At the same time, our teenage students face various problems at special times. Many times, due to the lack of necessary facilities, their coming to school and normal participation in classes are disrupted. Clean Chandpur has taken this initiative considering these issues.
He said, "I can understand the issue as a father of a girl. The main purpose of this initiative is so that our girls do not face any discomfort or problem at special times and can use hygienic sanitary napkins at a nominal price in school."
Stressing the importance of cleanliness, he told the students that their schools, homes and surroundings should always be kept clean. Even if a tissue is thrown, it should be thrown in the designated dustbin. Along with this, he called on everyone to cooperate with mothers in family work and said that the habit of working should be developed from childhood.
He also said that we should all keep this country and district clean by considering it as our own. It is possible to build a clean, healthy and beautiful Chandpur only through awareness and collective efforts.
At this time, Baburhat High School and College Principal Md. Mosharef Hossain, Daffodil International School and College Principal Md. Nur Khan, Baburhat High School Government Headmaster Md. Mahbubur Rahman, journalist Abdullah Al Mamun, Chandpur Municipality Ward No. 14 Jubo Dal President Md. Mobarak Palawan, General Secretary Md.
