A meeting was held to review the SSC examination results of two long-standing, traditional educational institutions in Chandpur—Government Hasan Ali High School and Matripith Government Girls' High School—and to determine the necessary steps for enhancing the quality of education.

The meeting took place on Monday (November 2, 2026) in the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Chandpur, presided over by the Deputy Commissioner. Participants reviewed the 2026 SSC examination results alongside the performance data from the preceding four years, analyzing the successes, consistency, and areas of weakness for both institutions.

According to the data presented, the pass rate at Matripith Government Girls' High School for the 2026 SSC examination was 96.67%, with 107 students achieving a GPA-5. Meanwhile, Government Hasan Ali High School recorded a pass rate of 89.66%, with 56 students securing a GPA-5.

During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner issued strict directives to the teaching staff aimed at improving educational standards. Emphasizing the need to end the practice of teachers engaging in private tutoring (coaching business), he stated that the school classroom must remain the primary hub for instruction. He urged teachers to focus their efforts on the school environment and to fulfill their professional responsibilities diligently.

The teachers present at the meeting also shared valuable insights and proposals for enhancing educational quality. Discussions covered making classroom instruction more effective, strengthening parent-teacher gatherings, and ensuring transparency in the processes of question paper preparation and student evaluation.

Furthermore, directives were issued to maintain and expand co-curricular activities within the institutions, and to ensure that neither teachers nor students use mobile phones inside the classrooms.

The meeting concluded on an optimistic note, expressing confidence that through the collective efforts of teachers, students, parents, and the administration, these two traditional institutions in Chandpur will not only sustain their consistent academic success but also make further strides in improving the overall quality of education.
