Romana in Kolkata film industry
Another talented artiste from Bangladesh is working in the Kolkata film industry. Actress Romana Swarna made her Kolkata film debut through the film 'Rupkothar Galpa', where she is playing the title role as Rupkotha. Directed by Somnath Chakrabarty, Romana acted alongside actor Shaan.
The first phase of the shooting has already been completed in Shyamsundar College campus in Bardhaman district of West Bengal, and the second phase will begin in Kolkata soon. The shooting of the songs will take place in various scenic locations of West Bengal. In addition to making appearances in the small screen, Romana Swarna has also acted in a number of films such as Tonmoy Tansen's 'Run Out' and 'Padma Patar Jol' and also in films 'Ditio Lingo' by Anuradh Rasel. She will also work in the film 'Dehanto'.
