At least people of sixteen villages have been demanding a bridge on Gurnoi River at Shabgari ferry ghat, Gurudashpur, Natore. They have been waiting for last 17 years. Farmers, underaged and old people are the worst sufferers. Locals said the ferry ghat stands on the bank of the Gurnoi River at Shabgari Bazar, Gurudashpur, Natore. The local people are moving by boats. It causes much inconvenience to their daily communication. Local Parliament Member, Professor Md. Abdul Kuddus said, a set of proposals has already been prepared and it will be put forward to the project director, large bridge construction project (L.B.C.P) and chief engineer, L. G. E. D.
