Mousumi Hamid in Sumon Anwar's film

Mousumi  Hamid is a popular actress among new generations. She started her career in media through being the runner-up in Lux-Channel i Superstar competition in 2010. Besides being regular in small screen she has started in the big screen as well. Already some of her films have been on the spotlight in the media industry.  Recently she has been casted in a new film. Directed by Sumon Anwar, the film is titled as 'Koyla'. Already location searching for the film has begun.

The whole crew recently went to Kuakata to select locations. Very soon they will go to Saint Martin as well. After selecting the locations, the shooting will begin, probably on the March, informed the director. About the story of 'Koyla', actor Mousumi said, "Koyla is a story of a girl who grows up in a fisherman neighborhood. Her name is Moyna. She works with her mother in the dry fish bazaar. The story movies on with her love, wait and struggle in that place."  Beside acting in the film, she is also busy in the small screen. She is currently working in several TV dramas.
