Ankhi O Tar Bondhura releasing this Dec

The reeling is almost done; the post production is on the process. In such a situation, Morshedul Islam, one of the most prominent film directors in the country, hopes to release his next childhood film Ankhi O Tar Bondhura at the end of this year.

About the film, the director said, "We have only two days of shooting left. For that reason, we are going to Bandarban again by the end of July. We were waiting for the rivers there to have a little more water. Due to a heavy rain, the rivers are now almost overflowed. Now we can finish our shooting. Other than that, most of the post production works---dubbing, editing---have been completed. Final editing will begin soon."

The two-time National Film Award-winning director also said, "I hope everyone will like Ankhi O Tar Bondhura. First of all, we have never had a children's film especially where the main character is a girl. Secondly, the girl from the original book is visually impaired.

The problems and struggles in the life of visually impaired people, and how society looks at them are the main themes of this film. Also, some important issues---like how well they can flourish if the society gives them opportunity, how much talented they are---have been focused in this film. So there are a lot of dimensions in the film."
