Walton 1st Inter-University Football begins tomorrow

The First Walton Inter-University Football Tourn-ament 2017 will begin tomorrow (July 14) at Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka.  The country's twenty private universities will participate in this tournament which will end on July 26. The inaugural program of this tournament was held at National Youth and Sports Council (NSE) building in Paltan yesterday. Secretary of Youth and Sports affairs of Awami League Harun-or-Rashid, was present as the chief guest in the function.

Besides, Operative Director of Walton Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar, Vice-Chancellor of Green University Prof Dr Md Golam Samdani Fakir, Sonali Otit Club president Mohammad Aslam, Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club's chairman Manjur Kader and other distinguished personalities were present there. The tournament is being jointly organized by Green University and Sonali Otit Club.

The participating teams are:  Ahsanullah University, BRAC University, City University, Daffodil International University, Dhaka Univer-sity of Engineering & Technology, East West University, Far-East Intern-ational Univ-ersity, Gono University, Independent University, International University of Business Agriculture and Techn-ology, Prime Asia University, Sher-e-Bangla Agriculture University, So -nargaon University, South-ern University, University of Liberal Arts, Southeast University, Stamford Univ-ersity, North South University, Bangladesh University of Textile and Green University.
