Popular film and television director Animesh Aich's film Voyonkor Sundor is going to be released on August 4. Animesh Aich made the screenplay based on Moti Nandi's novel "Joler Ghurni O Bokbok Shobdo". The film stars Parambrata Chatterjee from India and Ashna Habib Bhabna from Bangladesh. On the occasion of releasing the movie, team Voyonkor Sundor organized a press conference at BSEC building on Thursday.
Bangla film has become more south centric. Most of the time the filmmakers follow the Indian style to create Bengali film; therefore, the traditional Bengali vibe has disappeared totally. It has become difficult to find our Bengali culture, stories and characters in the film. In this environment where the main source of a Bengali film story is cut and copy from Indian film, Animesh Aich has brought an original story and an exceptionally Bengali cultured film.
This was the main theme of almost all the guests' speech who came over the press conference. Organized by a private satellite television channel, prominent writers, directors, music composers, filmmakers were present. Such music composer was Asif Iqbal who said, "The story of Voyonkor Sundor complements our cultural roots. The story of a middle class family that Animesh Aich brought to the celluloid at a time when we were going through an identity crisis. In this time, this film was an absolute necessity. We all should stand beside Animesh because they are the one who are preserving our Bengali culture."
