Cineplex releases Xefer's 1st solo album

Star Cineplex has released Xefer Rahman's first ever solo album yesterday at the Star Zone of the Cineplex at Bashundhara City. This is the first time Star Cineplex is producing a music album. Cineplex is mostly known to bring latest and popular movies from Hollywood, Bollywood and Dhallywood to the movie lovers.

Those who don't follow the common road but pursue their dreams with unfathomable courage and determination are usually the ones who create new paths. They carve their own niche. Xefer Rahman stands as such an example. It was through cover songs in Youtube the singer emerged into media.

One of her covers, 'Dirty Diana by Michael Jackson' was such a hit that BBC Asian Network contacted her from UK for an interview. Gradually, Xefer has come up with her own originals which have been widely appreciated as well. The singer has already made her debut for playback singing in films with Shenapoti, a joint-venture film between Bangladesh and India. However, her album Uncaged is set to be her first ever solo album that features nine songs. Among them, the songs "Judge" and "Somebody" has already been published on You Tube.
