Who will be Miss Bangladesh?

The first ever Miss World Bangladesh is finally happening. The judges have already selected 22 top beauties from all around the Bangladesh and soon one of them will be crowned as the competition only has a few segments left.

A whopping 25000 contestants applied for the audition in round 1 before Eid when the show kicked off on NTV. After considering much qualities that should Miss Bangladesh possesses, the judges chose 22 beautiful women from 42 hopefuls.

The competition already received a huge appreciation from the audiences. Thousands of people commented in the competition's Facebook and social media page that the competition is becoming fierce day by day.

Airing on NTV on every Friday and Saturday at 9 pm and on Tuesday and Thursday at 11.30 pm, the show will have its final round on 29th September after completing Talent Round, Corporate Round and Photo-shoot Round.

The winner will be crowned on 29th September and she will represent Bangladesh in the Miss World competition later this year. The winner of Miss World Bangladesh will be in China's Shenzhen city, where the grand finale of Miss World 2017 will be held.

As the big day is coming closer, Bangladesh is geared up with its representative. This year, Miss World 2017 beauty pageant will have more emphasis on social media and interactivity. 'Lavello Miss World Bangladesh 2017' is being organized by Antar Showbiz and Omicon Entertainment.

The chairman of Antar Showbiz said, "The winner of the Miss World Bangladesh will represent Bangladesh not only in the country but also in the international arena. We, the organizers are trying to put together a golden opportunity to uphold the Bangladeshi flag in the international community. "

Among the organizers present at the event, Omicon Entertainment Chairman Engineer Mehedi Hasan said, "This will stand as a wonderful example of women's independence and empowerment in Bangladesh." He added that Miss Bangladesh is providing a platform for Bangladeshi women to prove the true self by exploring their hidden talents.

On July 27, 'Miss World Bangladesh' content was unveiled. Notably, The Miss Bangladesh Contest was first organized in 1994, but the event did not attract national media attention. Tabassum Ferdous Shaon, who participated in the Miss World 2001 in South Africa was the last Bangladeshi contestant. Bangladesh has not sent a representative to Miss World since 2001.
