Purnima returning to the silver screen

Dhallywood actress Purnima is returning to the industry with Lal Tip and Porobashinee famed director Swapan Ahmed's new film 'Voboghure'. The director has recently announced that 'Voboghure' team has cast Purnima in the lead character.

Initially the lead actor was supposed to be Tanjin Tisha but due to visa complication she was replaced by Purnima.  The director surprised everyone by declaring the "Moner Majhe Tumi" and "Hridoyer Kotha" star. Director Swapan Ahmed told the press that the whole film will be shot in France and Switzerland, while all the cast members got their visas, except Tisha.

As a result, Tisha can't go to France for the shoot, hence Purnima was chosen for the role. However, the final decision will depend on whether Purnima will get her visa or not.

The director informed that the shoot of the film will began from November 12. He is currently in France for this purpose.  Some French actors will also star in the film alongside the Bangladeshi cast.

The director also added that the story of his film, "Voboghure," is based on true events that took place in France. Purnima last starred in "Chaya-Chobi" with co-star Arifin Shuvoo. The film's production ended back in 2012 but the film still has not been released yet.
